Meet the Team
At Whakatane Osteopaths, we have a strong passion for working holistically with people to reduce discomfort and restore health and mobility. We utilize a wide variety of techniques and concepts to achieve this goal taking into consideration the unique factors that feed into your situation.
Both LeeAnn and Wayne have lived in Whakatane for a number of years, appreciating the beautiful scenery, variety of active pursuits on offer and the wonderful community that comes with calling this part of the world home.
Osteopathy is a hands-on therapy with numerous benefits to health & well being.
We work with all aspects of the body including muscles, joints, ligaments, nerves, and organs and how everything functions together and influences each other.
Treatments are non-invasive and involve a broad range of techniques that can be very gentle to quite strong.
From the moment osteopaths begin our training we start our life-long journey of honing our sense of touch and developing what we call palpation skills.
First time seeing an osteopath? Lots of people don't know what on earth we osteopaths do so here's a quick guide to what will happen during your appointment...
